A research discovery tool that contains literature from many scientific disciplines including biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, materials science, agricultural science. Capable of patent, structure and reactions search. Login and password required for access to database as well as the number of seats per institution. Can share tags and comments with colleagues that also have SciFinder login. Can save your searches and received email alerts, and much more!

Science Citation Index (Search by Author, Topic; Trace Citations)

A citation database with multidisciplinary coverage of over 10,000 journals in the sciences, social sciences and arts and humanities. Tools include cited references searching, citation maps and the analyze tool. Good place to start for author search. Login is not mandatory and no limits to seats. Can save your searches and create "My Cited Articles" list and receive alert each time an article on the list is cited in a new article. Alert types include email and RSS feed.

DGRweb2009 (Directory of Graduate Research) ACS

Searchable online version of the ACS Directory of Graduate Research (DGR), contains information on chemical research and researchers at universities in the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. You can search for faculty and institutions. Includes access to complete 2007, 2005, 2003, 2001 and 1999 databases.

ACS Advanced Article Search

A search discovery tool within ACS Publications: all journals and book series within ACS. Can save your search, receive email alerts and subscribe to RSS feed of your search.
