- Professor Turro has been awarded the Arthur C. Cope award in Organic Chemistry for 2011. The award is given annually "to recognize outstanding achievement in the field of organic chemistry, the significance of which has become apparent within the five years preceding the year in which the award will be considered." The award will be presented at the meeting of the American Chemical Society at Anaheim during the period March 27-31.
